A new travel feature explores Italy through the 11 properties of Sina Hotels, a family-owned hospitality group founded in 1958. Its hotels occupy historic buildings across destinations including Venice, Florence, Rome, Perugia and Capri, each combining distinctly Italian grandeur with carefully considered contemporary updates.

At the Sina Bernini Bristol in Rome, modern teal and gold furnishings sit alongside a monumental vintage fresco. In Perugia, the renovation of the 140-year-old Sina Brufani draws on local marble and the pink stone of Assisi, while Florence’s former monastery-turned-hotel preserves its classical proportions, antiques and architectural character.
