New York lighting studio Blue Green Works has translated heartbreak, loss and vulnerability into a collection of sculptural Murano glass lights. Titled Garden, the seven-piece series pairs delicate glass leaves and feathers with mirrored steel and brass structures, giving emotional fragility a luminous physical form.

Founder Peter B. Staples developed the collection during a period of personal loss, drawing on the tenderness and exposure that accompany profound change.
